Shawn Brace is a pastor and church planter in Portland, Maine (USA), where he lives with his wife, Camille, and their three children, Camden, Acadia, and Winslow. Since his “missional rebirth” in 2016, his life and ministry have increasingly focused on community and incarnating the gospel in everyday life. He details this journey in his podcast, Mission Lab, and in his recent book The Table I Long For (Signs Publishing).
A regular columnist for Adventist Review, Shawn is the author of four books and is also a DPhil (PhD) Candidate at Oxford University, researching nineteenth-century American Christianity. A native New Englander, he loves traveling and spending time in the outdoors and has an obsessive desire to hang out and go deep with people, in an eternal quest for good conversation and learning people’s stories.
